The Sai Kang queen is back!
Posted by isabel at 10:20 PM
I've been doing sai kang these 2 days, archiving the files in the BO that's situated in the MRO. Although archiving sounds like super cool or something, it's just basically transferring the paper folders that are on the shelves, into the carton boxes. So, I was on my feet for the whole of yesterday and half of today. And guess what? I completed the task in one and a half days, far from their expectation of a week! LOLS! The only reason I completed archving the folders so quickly was that I wanted to go back to my beloved Finance office, where there were more people, instead of being stuck in a claustrophobic room with only 3 people who don't talk much! Kudos to them though, they were trying real hard to be nice to me, to make me feel comfortable, but , I still prefer the finance office :)

I have found my motivation to get first-class honours and only Shu Min knows what it is.

WAIT!
Posted by isabel at 11:40 PM
Can't wait for tomorrow to come, then I can go back to AJ and go print things. LOLS!Work is ok, cause they've already found my replacement and she's doing the things that I've been doing for the past one and a half month. So now, I'm like just doing those so called 'unimportant' stuff. :) I've been grabbing every opportunity to explore the hospital, by constantly asking my colleagues where they are going. Just today, I followed an uncle from the clinic to the laboratory where they conduct all the blood and urine tests. It's funny in a way, cause I was just leaving the clinic and he appeared there suddenly, asking me whether I would like to follow him to deliver the blood sample. Being me, the director of Orange Weekly, I of course immediately jumped onto the bandwagon! Lols. Work is sort of better now, because I have managed to make a few acquaintances, from MSWs to the uncle from the clinic and most importantly, those in my office.

FOS Open House
Posted by isabel at 6:55 PM
Went to the FOS Open House today. It was okaaaaaay..... And I seriously do NOT want to go into the marketing and sales of pharmaceutical products....Accountancy, I can accept. Marketing, NO, especially after all the hard work. And I roughly have an idea of where I want to work. SGH! :D Cause it's like super near my home. And yes, I would want to work in a hospital and maybe specialise in haematology or burns....Ha..But that's still like a super long way to go....So let's wait until I get my first class honours first....Even though it seems like an insanely impossible goal to achieve...Cos I'm like the ikan bilis...not even a kuning...Haiz...I can't wait to apply for half day leave on Monday, so that we can go Yum Cha and collect our certs on Thursday. Met someone on the train today, after the Open House and late lunch. It was like super coincidental. Shall try asking for an attachment on Monday. Even one day would be nice :)

I keep getting false hope that I will be like sent to the 'frontline' to help people take their temperature and fill in their declaration forms....but it seems that I'm not 'fated' to do that job. >.<Yesterday, someone from the office caught an injured parrot and brought it back. It's green in colour! It got the whole office so excited and someone had to shush us...so as to not disturb the docs next door.... At one point, the parrot flew out of the box! Haha. It was super unexpected :) A few days back, my father sent my brother and I to school and work. It's super not fair! How come I always have to study in schools that are old ( both structurally(with the exception of my pri school) and in history(with the exception of my sec school))??? How come I can't study in old schools that are sort of new and big????? I'm like really regretting not studying real hard during my PSLE.... Humph... :( BTW, I've got a new name... Ha. All thanks to Susan and Sally. It's super 'song'. |
